The Cochran & Mann team has grown thanks to the addition of two new associate project managers, Kelly Erfurdt and Kevin DeMaille.

As associate project managers for our commercial painting company in Frederick, Maryland, Kelly and Kevin display strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

They’re responsible for overall project management. The functions of this role include estimating, budgeting, cost control, procurement, scheduling, customer relations and more. At Cochran & Mann, associate project managers help ensure that our team meets deadlines on projects without sacrificing quality.

“Coming from the commercial printing industry, I can appreciate a quality finished product,” Erfurdt said. “After meeting the demands of round-the-clock production, I felt the urge to tackle something more substantial than printing words on paper. I’ve felt at home when balancing the needs of international teams and know I can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Becoming a project manager at Cochran & Mann was appealing to me because I could see myself turning a positive first impression into the finishing touches on structures that shape the D.C. Metro area.”

Serving as the main point of contact for clients from start through warranty phase of each project is another integral role of the associate project manager position.

Since our inception in 1990, we have grown immensely, but we remain a family-owned-and-operated business that is guided by principles of transparency, reliability, responsiveness, craftsmanship, and loyalty. Every member of our team brings these values and beliefs to the table, and Kelly and Kevin are no different.

Like the rest of our team, our associate project managers do what they say they’ll do and they do it right, keeping their word on every project.

We’re excited for Kelly and Kevin to become part of the reason why we’ve been able to build many successful, long-term partnerships with our clients and trusted vendors for nearly 30 years.

“I’ve been a day laborer for a construction company since I was 18 years old,” DeMaille said. “My responsibilities ranged from demolition to painting, and everything between. With my experience as a laborer, I felt I was ready for the next step — becoming a project manager. Painting has always been one of my favorite parts of a project because it makes a job feel complete. Whether it be a retail store, a bank, or a room in your home, paint makes all the difference. I am excited to be a part of the Cochran & Mann team and cannot wait to see what the future has in store.”
