Crown High School Contract with Keller

Cochran & Mann has been awarded the painting and wall covering contract for the MCPS Crown High School project in Gaithersburg, Maryland, with general contractor Keller.

Crown High School will be located on the southern portion of Crown Farm. The school will encompass 358,000 square feet across four stories, featuring an auditorium, state-of-the-art classrooms, athletic facilities, and communal spaces. The project is slated to begin in late 2025, with the school opening its doors to students in the fall of 2027.

Cochran & Mann's Role

Cochran & Mann, led by Senior Project Manager Tom Shoemaker, will oversee all aspects of the painting and wall covering work over the course of the three-year project. Tom brings extensive experience in high school rebuilds, having successfully managed similar projects at Frederick and Wheaton High Schools over the past decade.

Our team will be responsible for interior and exterior painting, as well as the installation of custom wall coverings using premium materials provided by our trusted product partners: PPG Paints, TNEMEC High-Performance Coatings, and Koroseal Arbor Wood Veneer
